Our Parish

Signed into law by Governor Kay Ivey on March 7, 2024, the CHOOSE Act makes refundable income tax credits available in an educational savings account (ESA) to pay up to $7,000 of tuition and related educational expenses beginning in the 2025-26 school year. The CHOOSE Act could have a significant impact on the enrollment and finances of Catholic schools. Attached is a flyer summarizing the details of the legislation.

For the month of April, Padre Pio is collecting sandwich items and canned vegetables. Suggested items include peanut butter, jelly, canned tuna, canned chicken, lunch meat, sliced cheese, and mayo. Please make sure to check expiration dates. WE CANNOT GIVE AWAY EXPIRED FOOD.  Thank you for your prayers and support. In March, we gave out 25 boxes of food.
